MADRE!!! OMG!!!

I told you, I told you, I told you...It's been over a month since I last updated the blog...crazy month...the 3 girls were sick for over a week, really bad colds and stomach virus. Clara is back to normal and the twins too, Alicia still has a double ear infection so she still is on antibiotics.

During all this time we also did the Playskool commercial. The twins did great during the shooting and they loved them. I cannot wait to see it on TV, I think it airs at the end of the month, that is today :) I have to find out what channel though.

Craig is working like crazy since it is his busy season, 2 more weeks and the poor guy will be his old self. He is really tired because of the stress and the lack of sleep (he stayed late working on his midterm for his Masters class). I am thankful to have such a hardworking husband that provides for us and allows me to be home with my girls. I know he misses seeing them (and hopefully me!) but April 15th is around the corner.

I hope not to take too long to write my next post.

PS- Still working on the layout of the blog, there are some things I cannot figure out yet.

Ya os lo habia dicho...Ha pasado mas de un mes desde la ultima vez que escribi en el blog...vaya locura de mes...las 3 enanas enfermas durante mas de una semana con unos catarros horribles y un virus de esos de estomago. Clara ya esta bien y las gemelas tambien, aunque Alicia sigue con otitis en los dos oidos asi que la pobre sigue con antibioticos.

En este mes tambien hemos rodado el anuncio para Playskool. Las gemelinas se portaron genial y todo el mundo en el rodaje estaba encantado con ellas. Tengo unas ganas de verlo en la tele...creo que lo empiezan a poner a finales de mes, o sea, como hoy, pero me tengo que enterar en que canal.

Craig esta trabajando como un loco ya que es su epoca de mas trabajo, dos semanas mas y el pobre hombre volvera a ser el mismo. Esta muy cansado debido al estres y la falta de sueno (hubo un par de noches que se quedo hasta las mil estudiando para una clase del Master que esta haciendo). El pobre Craig trabaja un monton para mantenernos y que yo pueda estar en casa con las ninas sin tener que trabajar, se lo agradezco en el alma. Se que las echa de menos, pero el 15 de Abril ya esta a la vuelta de la esquina.

Espero no tardar mucho en poner mi proximo post.

PD- Sigo tratando de arreglar el fondo del blog y las fotos pero hay un monton de cosas que todavia no se.

Valentine's weekend/ Finde de San Valentin

Sooo...not a very exciting weekend. Ended up having to take the 3 girls to urgent care, one each day. The 3 of them have ear infections, besides the cold. Clara's cough is really bad but hopefully she will get better soon. The bright side of the weekend was that Craig and I finally got to go on a date!! The first one since Chapa left. We had a lot of fun. We went to the movies and then to Walts Wharf where besides the food we enjoyed a very much needed adult conversation. Thanks Chic and Ellen for babysitting.

Bueno, pues un finde no muy ameno que digamos. Tuvimos que llevar a las 3 enanas a urgencias: Ines, el viernes por la tarde, Alicia el sabado al mediodia y Clara el Domingo por la tarde. Las tres tienen otitis (Ines, doble) y un catarrazo de mil pares de narices que no logran deshacerse de el. Lo peor es la tos de Clara que es sin parar y no puede ni dormir la pobre, esperemos que se mejore pronto. Lo mas excitante del finde fue que por fin Craig y yo fuimos capaces de salir a cenar! La primera vez desde que Chapa se fue! Fuimos al cine y luego a cenar a nuestro restaurante favorito, Walts Wharf, donde, ademas de la comida, por fin pudimos disfrutar de una muy necesitada conversacion entre adultos. Gracias Chic y Ellen por cangurear.

The weekend

I don't know how we do it, but instead of resting on the weekends we are always running around. Although it is fun, when Sunday night arrives and the 3 girls are finally in bed, Craig and I are exhausted...

This weekend Clara went to a store with her friend Carson to make some Valentines and on Sunday she finally got her so much needed haircut. She also went to the park with dad to ride her bike.

Here are some pictures from our weekend. The ones of Craig and I with the twins were taken by Clara, I don't get it but she absolutely LOVES to take pictures, no wonder our memory card is always full!

No se lo que pasa pero todos los findes, en vez de descansar, andamos que no paramos de aqui para alla. Aunque nos lo pasamos muy bien, cuando llega el domingo por la noche y por fin todas duermen, Craig y yo estamos derrotados :)

El sabado Clara fue con su amiga Carson a una tienda a hacer tarjetas de San Valentin y el domingo la llevamos a cortarse el pelo, que ya era hora. Tambien se fue al parque con papa a andar en bici.

Aqui podeis ver algunas fotos de nuestro finde. La que estamos Craig y yo con las gemelas la saco Clara. No lo entiendo, le encanta sacar fotos y en cuanto nos descuidamos esta con la camara haciendo click por todos lados, por eso siempre la tarjeta de memoria esta llena!

Rainy Cali

Today sunny Cali is rainy Cali. I must admit that I am spoiled here because I got used to having nice weather every day but I still love the rain and it will always remind me of my hometown.This picture was taking from our bedroom.

Hoy la soleada California esta lluviosa. Aunque me he acostumbrado a tener buen tiempo todos los dias, me encanta la lluvia y siempre me recordara a la mi tierrina :) Hoy estoy disfrutando de un dia Asturiano en Cali. Esta foto esta sacada desde nuestra habitacion.
