Here I am again, later than I would have liked but...oh man, life is crazy in this country :) We have been really busy since my last post, everything good and exciting but it seems like it's always non stop.
May was a fun month full of birthdays, including mine! We had a lot of fun...and the best present was that we got a new house! Yeap! We found this cute house in this awesome neighborhood and it was on my birthday that we found out our offer had been accepted!! How exciting and stressful!!! That means...once again we have to pack, pack to move into the new house, pack to go to Spain (we leave in less than a month), keep this house decent because the owner is showing it to find a new tenant, ballet recital, last weeks of work, Craig gone for a week, my mom arriving on the 27th, moving out on the 29th...anyhow, a lot going on but very exciting. We are blessed with our lives and we know it and thank God everyday for that.
Besides my birthday we also had our wedding anniversary...7 years married! and 10 together!! Time really flies...who would have thought that I would end up marrying an American and having 3 beautiful girls...I couldn't have asked for anything else. Craig and I enjoyed a nice dinner at our favorite restaurat Walts Wharf in Seal Beach. I do really enjoy our date nights because it is really our only time to communicate and share what is going in our lives.
Weather has been finally nice... For Memorial weekend we had the family over for a barbecue and it was a lot of fun. The picture above is of the girls enjoying the nice weather in the backyard.

The trip to Spain is almost here, I am very excited to go back and visit my family and bring the twins for the first time, everybody is looking forward to meeting them and spending some time with the 3 girls. Craig will go 3 weeks later so we are going to miss him, it is always hard when we have to be away from each other but time goes by so fast, he will be there with us in no time enjoying my beautiful country. This year, Chic and Ellen are coming also! and Corky, Craig's grandma, they all wanted to be present at the twins' baptism and we are very happy to be able to have them there and share that moment with them.
My niece and goddaughter, Carmen, got her First Communion this past Saturday, I am sorry I missed such an important day in her life but I was thinking about her the whole time. My mom told me all about it the next day. She wore the dress that I wore for my First Communion, isnt that amazing? I love passing stuff from generation to generation, I think it's so cool... Also, my brother Pablo is turning 40 this month, I cannot believe it! It seems like yesterday when we were still in school and fighting for the white side of the Nutella :)
Anyhow, it's late, I just wanted to give a little update and share all the good news with you guys. Hope to be back soon although...I am not sure it will be before Spain. Hugs and kisses. Ali

Muchos besos. Ali

Mother's day/ Dia de la madre

Today was Mother's day and what a great day I had with my family. Craig made sure I got to relax today and I did! He took care of the kids in the morning so I didn't get up until 7:40 am which is really a treat taking into account I am up not later than 7 am everyday feeding everybody and getting Clara ready for school. I woke up to a beautiful bouquet of flowers and Clara made me this cute neckless at school, what a great job she did. You can see the picture here. Craig and Clara made a delicious breakfast consisting of pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausages, coffee and orange juice! I was FULL. After that we went to mass and then to have something to eat with some friends of ours and their kids. Got home, fed the twins and adioooosss! I went shopping by myself!! Yes!! No pushing double strollers trying to get by and no "excuse us" :) I got a few cute clothes that actually fit me good (finally! after almost a year!) and a these pink cute sweaters for the twins. Then I went to pick up the pictures from that fundraiser I told you about in my last post and went home. Then the 5 of us were playing in the backyard and it was a lot of fun. It was the twins' first time touching the grass and let me tell you, Alicia didn't like it at all! It was so funny to see her reaction, I tried to post the video but it is not letting me, I guess it is too long. Then dinner time, baths etc...and finally time to relax!A glass of wine....life is good. Thanks to my hubby for a wonderful Mother's day. I love my family.
Adoro a mi familia.

We just got the pictures from our last photo session, which was a fundraiser for my Twin club. I am going to order them and as soon as I get them I will post a few. Meanwhile, here is a video of Alicia cracking up while she watches Clara jump.

Busy season is finally over!!! I came to realize April 16th is my favorite day of the year. It is SO nice to have Craig back as a husband and dad. Believe me, I do not know how single moms with 3 kids do it, I mean, it's doable but it is a lot of work for one person, especially during bath and dinner times. Soooo he is back!! Wooo hoooo! Clara is loving spending time with her dad again, she is sooo happy, she is all day glued to his pants :)

So Friday morning Craig dropped Clara off at school and then the both of us went to The Crema for breakfst with the twins, had a nice walk in Seal , we then headed to Babies R Us to buy a few things and to the grocery store...It is amazing how much faster you can do things when you have somebody to help you. We had a lot of fun running errands. Then, the in-laws came to watch the kids and Craig and I went to Ladera Ranch wine tasting with 3 other couples...how fun! We really needed that time just for ourselves. On Saturday morning we had a photoshoot which is a fundraiser for my OCMOM's club (Orange Coast Mothers Of Multiples), I cannot wait to see the pictures of the girls. They did great!
Here is a couple of pics of the twins from last week while waiting at the pediatrician's. Yes, I know their pacifiers are upside down but believe me, that is how they like them, as soon as you put them in their mouths, they turn them upside down , do not ask me WHY. Hugs and kisses!

Well, finally here again. I have been meaning to post Easter pictures since last Sunday but it never happened. We had a fun Easter with lots of activities: we went egg hunting, Clara colored the eggs with papa, the Easter bunny came and it all ended up with an awesome brunch at the Chic and Ellen's club. They invite the whole family every year for Easter and it is lots of fun: delicious food, crafts for the kids, bouncer and Easter bunny. Thanks Chic and Ellen for getting the family together one more time and inviting everybody!
Here are some pictures from our Easter 2010.

Besos!

Easter Bunny!

Last weekend we went to Ladera Rach Spring Festival with my friend Suzy and her kids. Her husband works with Craig so while the hubbies were working hard on a beautiful Saturday, we enjoyed a fun day at a park filled with fun stuff for the kiddos. And of course, the Easter bunnies were there. Here is picture to prove it! :) Happy Easter everybody!
